  Service Terms and Conditions
This website (www.thanachartbank.co.th) is owned by Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited (hereinafter called “the bank”). The bank reserves the right to give services only to the users who accept the terms and conditions specified below.

The bank has created the website for the users, giving details of its financial products and services. The website serves as an additional channel in communicating with its customers and other users of its products and services. The bank reserves the right to change the terms and conditions related to the use of the website, as it deems appropriate.

Copyright in all pages, pictures, information, presentations and the presentation format on the website is owned by the bank unless otherwise specified. No part of the website may be copied, presented, distributed, modified for other purposes without the bank’s prior written consent.

Service Limitations
The financial services are not intended for every visitor. The bank reserves the right in screening and selecting the users of the services in line with the bank’s regulations. In addition, the users of the services have to accept risks arising from the use of the services unless otherwise specified by the law. The information sent by the users of the services on the website or through email is not confidential and the bank can use the information for other purposes.

However, the use of the information by the bank must not be in conflict with its privacy policy as disclosed on the bank’s website. The bank strives to improve the information and the materials available on the website, ensuring that the information and the materials are accurate and current. However, the bank cannot warrant the accuracy and adequacy of these information and materials on its website. On the part of the registered users or customers, they will receive a login name and a password which is a personal secret word. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The bank reserves the right in changing the service terms and conditions related to the use of the website service. As well, it reserves the right to collect fees for the service as it deems appropriate. It also reserves the right to cancel the website service without having to give prior notice or supporting rationale to the users. For all the documents or notifications sent to the users of the services via the addresses or email addresses which have been given to the bank, the bank has an understanding that the users of the services are informed of the messages contained in such documents or notifications.

Use of Services

The user of the services accepts that any action taken in relation to any type of his or her account via the website, making use of the user’s password and following the procedure or complying with the terms and conditions established by the bank for the different services, is considered as complete. The user is not required to take any other action or to give his or her signature on any document supporting such action taken via the website. Such action taken via the website is construed as the action taken by the user himself or herself, regardless of whether the action is a fraud by external party. The user also accepts that all the records, evidence or documents which the bank prepares as a result of the use of services via the bank’s website are correct in every aspect and it is not necessary for the bank to request the user to give his or her signature on them or to verify them in advance.

The user of the services accepts the obligations of and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions related to the service of the website and the additional terms and conditions to be imposed in the future. As well, any manualsor documents related to the use of services via the website which will be announced or distributed by the bank inthe future will be considered as part of the terms and conditions related to the use of the website service.

Disclaimers and No Warranties
The users of the services accept that the bank will not be liable for any damages which may be caused to the users from using services via the bank’s website.

In case of damages caused by any user to the bank as a result of his or her using the services via the bank’s website, the user agree to be held responsible for all the damages caused to the bank without any conditions whatsoever.

The website may contain misspelled words or messages which are not accurate. The bank does not warrant the accuracy or adequacy of any document. It also does not warrant credibility of advice, opinions, messages, or information presented or distributed on the website. The users of the services may choose to believe the advice, opinions, or information, taking into consideration the users’ own risks. The bank reserves its complete right to fix the errors or inadequacies on the website, documents, or service information (if any) at any time without notice. The website, documents or service information on the website as well as any software which may be made available on the website are given on an “as is” basis. The bank does not warrant their accuracy, adequacy or completeness, clearly or assumingly in all respects. No warranties also apply to the appropriateness related to any copyright infringement or any functionality.

In case the bank’s computers or electricity systems or communications systems fail to function properly and disrupt the bank’s website service, which prevent the users from using or receiving the services, the user of the website agrees not to use such malfunctions to make any claims against the bank or to hold the bank responsible for any damage.

Financial Reports
In case of the use of the bank’s website service by the user, which causes the bank to take any action or debit/transfer funds from the user’s accounts, the user permits the bank to immediately take such action or debit/transfer funds from any of the user’s accounts with the bank in line with the conditions and procedures established by the bank.

Reserved Right
The bank reserves the right to cancel the website service any time without having to give supporting rationale or notice to the user of services in advance.

Use of the Services Overseas and the Governing Law
The bank does not warrant the appropriateness of the documents on the website or their use in countries other than Thailand. In addition, it does not warrant the access to the information on the website from locations outside Thailand, where some information presented on the website may be legally prohibitive. You are solely responsible for complying with any local laws.

Advice and Security in Using the Service
Password
The password should be 8-20 letters in length and should have no meaning. The password should also be difficult to guess. For examples, you should not use your true name or nickname or phone number. In addition, you should not
use the same password as the ones you use for your email or other websites whose services you are using.
  • You should not record your password in writing.
  • You should keep the password strictly confidential. As well, you should not disclose it to anyone.
  • You should change your password whenever you are in doubt that someone knows or can guess your password.
Log in the System
  • Whenever you are not working in front of the monitor, you should log out the system.
  • In case you encounter disruption problems in staying connected with the system while you are doing online transactions, such as the disconnection of your computer with the system while you are making a fund transfer on the Internet, you should immediately gain access to the system again and verify the completeness of the transaction or check the outstanding balance of your account.
